Use of modern technology allowed researchers Patricia Law Hatcher and Michael J. Leclerc to search the online version of the International Genealogical Index for any Averina who married a Richard during the right period. Their search turned up the record of the following marriage: "Averen Vibert to Rich. Lansere, 27 October 1639, Southampton, Hampshire"[1] Averina's father was deduced from a study of the probate records of Hampshire. In his will dated February 1640/1, Abrahan Vibert, a tailor of Southampton, made bequests to his sons Richard, John the elder, Abraham, John the younger; his daughters Averin, Audrea, Jone; and his now wife, Jane.[1] Sources ↑ 1.0 1.1 Patricia Law Hatcher and Michael J.
