| Note | Sarah first appears as spouse of Thomas Bunce in the Hartford Settlement, Connecticut Colony. Sarah and Thomas had five children:[citation needed] Sgt. John Bunce born about 1650, married Mary Barnard, dau. of Bartholomew Barnard and Sarah Burchard/Birchard. John died before 1734, Hartford. Elizabeth Bunce married Jacob White of Hatfield, Massachusetts. Elizabeth died about 1716, Hartford. Thomas Jr. (see Profile) Sarah Bunce born about 1634, Hartford, married (1) John White, Jr., born about 1630, died 15 Sep 1665, Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts, married (2) about 1668, Nicholas Worthington, born about 1635, England, who died 6 Sep 1693, Hartford. Sarah died 20 Jun 1676. Mary Bunce born 17 Sep 1645, Hartford, married (1) Thomas Meakins, born 8 Jun 1643, Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts, died 19 Oct 1675, Hatfield, married (2) 1676, John Downing, born about 1640, Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts. The Last will of Sarah Bunce, Late wife unto Thomas Bunce senr of Hartford Deceased: I give & Bequeath unto my grand child sarah meekins fifteen pound, of wch a feather bed & furniture & a great Brass Kettle shall be part. It. I give unto my grand child John meekins five pound & a chest. It. I give unto my grand child Thomas Meekins fourty shillings & a chest. It.
